Wayfinder supports Indigenous Nations in Western Canada through traditional knowledge research and documentation in support of Nation-building and meaningful consultation.
We work with Indigenous Nations to:
Articulate the impacts of development projects on culture and Rights
Assess and support access to traditional foods
Document and share traditional knowledge across generations
Record and restore Indigenous place names
Map traditional territories and culturally-informed land use zonation
Identify TEK-driven interventions for species of concern
